I don’t expect that “everything” is covered or that this document is 100% definitive. Yet. If you have a problem or a question with anything below, send it IMMEDIATELY to HYPERLINK "mailto:askzev@yahoo.com" askzev@yahoo.com for the next update of this FAQ. Likewise, send any card question / interaction you don’t see covered below. I’m confident by the time Vengeance is tourney legal – the end of August – that all will be covered. Ace List According to the Contract Table A Chorus of Boos ‘Cause I Want It More Golden Thong Award (Ring Area only) Grab the Ref It’s a Numbers Game I’ve Got the Hurri-Powers… JR Style Authentic BBQ Sauce JR Style Push Kane’s Rage Last Chance Managed by Dawn Marie Managed by Paul Heyman Old School Beating The Edgeucation of Adam Copeland The Title is on the Line This is Gonna Be a Rocket Buster To the Rescue Who’s That Jumpin’ Out the Sky? RULE CHANGES Backlash Deck Cards -The number of Pre-match and Mid-Match cards you may have in your Ring Area is increased from 4 to 5. The maximum number of Pre and Mid-Match cards in your Backlash deck has been increased to 20 (10 of each.) Backstage Area -The new zone of the game is called the Backstage Area. Enforcer cards and Superstar cards are all revealed from the Backstage Area. -All Enforcer cards now have Errata stating that they are revealed from the Backstage Area. -Cards revealed from the Backstage Area are not considered to be in your Ring Area. -You do not have to reveal every card in your Backstage Area. Cards that remain unrevealed cannot be used in the game. -The Backstage Area follows the Face/Heel and Raw/Smackdown rules for deck construction. -You cannot have more than one of each card in your Backstage Area. Chain -When you play a Chain card, your opponent may discard 2 cards. If he does, he can reverse it from his hand or Backlash deck. If he does not, it cannot be reversed from his hand or Backlash deck. When you successfully play a Chain card and damage has been applied, you may discard 2 cards and then search your Arsenal for 1 Chain card, reveal it to him, put it into your hand, and shuffle your Arsenal. -Chain is a trait. The Potentiality Rule will not see a forced discard or search effect as this does not appear in the card text. As such, cards like Ax Kick or Faceplant cannot reverse a Chain card just because it has the Chain trait. -Beating the Odds also does not affect the reversal restrictions generated by the Chain trait. -You get the chance to search for a Chain card before your opponent has the opportunity to play cards such as Took It on the Chin. Heat -When you have 6 or more Heat cards in your Ringside pile, once during each turn, you may play 1 Heat card from your Ringside pile. Whenever you move a card from your Ringside pile to any other location for any reason other than playing a Heat card, first remove all Heat cards in your Ringside pile from the game. -Heat is a trait, not a card effect. Hell in a Cell Match and the Rattlesnake’s ability will not affect either of its ringside pile effects. -Heat cards act in every way like other cards of their type. You can play a Heat card from Hand or Backlash deck if you wish. -If played from the Ringside Pile, Heat cards go to your Ring Area as normal (if applicable.) Universally Active -When a card in any Ring Area has this trait, no other player may play a card that shares a sub-type with it. Currently this only applies to the Venue sub-type. Venue -A new type of Pre-match card, before the Feud portion of Pre-match. When there is a Venue card in any Ring area, you cannot play a Venue card. SUPERSTARS Adam Copeland -You must draw a card or have your opponent discard a card. You cannot choose to do neither one. FBI -The Action reversal ability is considered to be reversing from hand. The Mystery Superstar -You may pack Hybrid Superstar-specific cards as one of the 5 permitted card types. Paul Heyman -Stipulations removed via this ability will go back to the Backstage Area. They are still considered revealed. -Cards in your Backstage area are considered packed, and must conform to the rules of Arsenal construction. REGULAR CARDS Blindsided Ego -When played, it goes to your Ring Area as normal. Chain Wrestling -Allows you to search for one Chain card, and another if you discard 2 cards to use the search effect of the Chain Trait. Evolution is a Mystery -You get to choose 1 card for each 6 cards you discard. -You discard cards in groups of 6. 3 Cards from each source. First Blood Match -If a Pinfall triggers due to this card and that Pinfall is prevented by another effect (such as PPV Main Event) the Pinfall will trigger again immediately For the Love of God – Why, King, Why? -You may choose any Enforcer your opponent has revealed. It does not have to be on the same card as the old one. Headstrong -You still need to meet the 6 card condition in order to play this card. (See entry for Heat above.) Houston, Texas -If any player picks a card that is neither an Action, Maneuver or Reversal, nothing happens and you stop picking cards. Immune to Pain -If played by a Cactus Jack or Mankind superstar that is overlaying a Dude Love Superstar card, multiple copies of this card in your Ring Area will prevent you from becoming Dude Love again. This is because the Active rule will prevent anything that causes more than one Active card with the same title to be in your Ring Area. JR Style Push -Prevents the reversal itself from ending your turn. Your turn can still be ended by other means. -If you have more than one copy in play and your Superstar Value becomes higher than your opponent’s Superstar Value, this card will remain non-Active until the number of copies you have in play drops to one. This is because the Active rule will prevent anything that causes more than one Active card with the same title to be in your Ring Area. Judo Takedown -Does not deal damage as it was not actually played. -May trigger during the Pre-match phase. Judo Thrust -Does not deal damage as it was not actually played. Know Your Role and Shut Your Mouth -The +1 Pre-Match text is also added to this card. Last Chance -The reversed card is removed from the game and does not go to the Ringside Pile at all. Las Vegas, Nevada -The random determination replaces the normal determination of who plays first. Edge’s Superstar Ability will still override this effect, as will the effect of Slandered Online or anything else that predetermines which player plays first. Leave Me Alone -The ‘text’ this card refers to is Rules text. It does not count flavor text or traits. Newcastle, England -The second effect simply means that when a card or effect wants to know the number of Face or Heel cards in play, that number is determined normally and then doubled. Pain is Inevitable -Multi cards will also be returned to your hand as long as they share a Maneuver type with the type chosen. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania -You can search for up to 3 cards in any combination listed. (EG, 2 Foreign Object cards and 1 Hardcore card.) -You may search for Unique cards with Hardcore in the title. Quick Snap Body Slam -Does not count effects such as Trash Can. Snot Rocket -It is possible to play a Stipulation and then play this card in a later phase. In this case, nothing would happen to the Stipulation you played. Steel Chain Shot -The ‘text’ this card refers to is Rules text. It does not count flavor text or traits. Struck by an Unknown Foreign Object -Your opponent may choose another Enforcer from any he has revealed. It does not have to be on the same Enforcer card. Suicide Strike (Japanese Promo) -It is possible for this card to cause a double pin. In a tournament this would result in a double loss for both players similar to a double countout (0 points each.) -If both players have an effect that is capable of replacing the Pin with another event (Pay Per View Main Event, Wrestlemania), the player whose turn it is will trigger his effect first, and then the opponent will trigger his own. The turn would then end twice (only relevant for effects like Rabid Wolverine) and it would become the other player’s turn. Suplex -You may choose any Enforcer your opponent has revealed. It does not have to be on the same card as the old one. Suplex into the Ring -You may choose an Enforcer from any you have revealed. It does not have to be on the same card. The Title is on the Line -If you do not have a Title Belt Card, this card has no detrimental effect if reversed. Two! -Counts as reversing from your Arsenal. -Does not enter your Ringside pile so it is not prevented by Hell in a Cell or Rattlesnake. Unscrupulous S.O.B -You may reverse an ACE that comes from a Unique card. When Hell Freezes Over -The reversed card is removed from the game and does not go to the Ringside Pile at all. Hell in a Cell and Rattlesnake will not prevent it from being removed. Wraparound Wrist Lock -Does not count effects such as Trash Can. You Rang? -If you choose your opponent’s next card, you follow the normal rules and restrictions listed under the FAQ entry for Calling You Out. -If you are forced to choose this card for Calling You Out and your opponent could not legally play it as his next card, he ignores that part of the effect and he may choose to play a different (legal) card. (This can happen with cards like Back to Basics.) -/<45Z[\lmA !ō O U ¼ĮĀ&'bcgh{$%µĮĻ26}“čōŅąļ#3®Å>P톑ųżłżõģõąģÕģõżĪżĪżĪżĪżÅĄÅĄÅżŗµżĪżÅؘŘŘŘÅؘŘŌŌŌżŗżŗ0J5OJQJ\^J0J5B*OJQJ\^Jph’0JB*OJQJ^Jph’ B*ph’ 5CJ\CJaJ0JOJQJ^J B*CJph’0J6B*CJph’j6CJUj6CJU6CJCJH*CJ7:;<ABCLl}“·ÄŲó*6Lcv—°Ńßżżūöżżżżōōżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżż$a$d)žß’ !óō ‰ å 9 ± N O U ė Ł 8»¼ĮüŠ gh{żūūłżżłżżżżżżżłżżżżżłżżżżżż÷$“µ¶ĮĻ126|}“ēčōdŠŃŅąļ"#3®żūżżūūłżż÷żżõżżóżżżżūńżżļżż ®Åż=>Pģķ…†‘÷ų€ŁŚčK¦§µź UżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżPŁŚč§µ Vy¹%%}’;N»Ö„ ™ Å Ń e!v!Ļ!Š!ō!m""›$¢$%*%%¦%’%&‰&œ&Ō&ė&'£'Ī'Ļ'Ł'd)ż÷żīżāīāīāīāīāżīāÕīāżīāīāīāīāī÷ż÷Šż÷ż÷ż÷ż÷ż÷ż÷ż÷ż÷ż÷īż÷ż B*ph’0JB*OJQJ^Jph’0J5OJQJ\^J0JOJQJ^J 5CJ\CJ8UVy¬¹%%~’:;Nŗ»ÖF ƒ „ ™ Ä Å Ń d!e!żżżżżżżżūżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżże!v!Ļ!Š!ō!l"m""5#š$›$¢$%%*%Œ%%¦%ž%’%&,&ˆ&‰&œ&Ó&Ō&ė&Œ''żūżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżżż'£'Ī'Ļ'Ł'`(c)d)żżżżżżż 1h°Š/ °ą=!°"°# $ %°ĒDŠÉźyłŗĪŒ‚ŖK© askzev@yahoo.comąÉźyłŗĪŒ‚ŖK© 0mailto:askzev@yahoo.com i8@ń’8 NormalCJ_HaJmH sH tH 8@8 Heading 1$$@&a$5\2@2 Heading 2$@&5\<@< Heading 3$@&5B*\ph<@< Heading 4$@&5B*\ph<@< Heading 5$@&5B*\ph<@< Heading 6$@&5B*\ph<@< Heading 7$@&5B*\ph<@< Heading 8$@&5B*\ph< @< Heading 9 $@&5B*\ph<A@ņ’”< Default Paragraph FontFg@¢ńF HTML TypewriterCJOJPJQJ^JaJ0B@0 Body Text B*ph’8P@8 Body Text 2 B*CJph.U@¢!.
